パイレックス レストランウェア Grants, The Skillet サラダプレート

1906年創立のGrantsという大手百貨店チェーン内にあった、カウンター席・軽食中心のレストラン、「The Skillet」で使用されていたプレート。尚、同百貨店には他パイレックスのデザインとして知られている「ブラッドフォードハウス」というレストランもありました。最盛期で1200ものチェーンが存在したGrantsは1976年に、その歴史に幕を閉じました。入手困難な部類に入るデザインですので、レストランウェアコレクターの方には特にお勧めしたい1品です。

全体的に光沢があり、ひび、かけ、われ、チップはありませんが、お写真でご覧頂けるように使用面には使用傷やこすれ、プリントロスなどが顕著に見られるのでお値段に反映しています。

他、製造工程上の素地の流し込み痕、ねりじわ、着色、すれ痕などが発見できるかもしれませんが、特筆すべきものがあれば、お写真でもご確認頂けます。
